Conditions d’utilisation

The binding text is the one presented inside the product, at sop.mednais.com/terms. This page summarises it.

Ce document est en anglais

Il n’est publié qu’en anglais, et c’est le texte anglais qui s’applique. Une traduction pourrait s’en écarter ; c’est pourquoi nous n’en publions pas.

MedNAIS™ is operated by Samplify FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You accept the terms of use when you first sign in, and again whenever we publish a version that changes what they say — the version you accepted, when, and in which language is recorded against your account. If your organisation has a separate written agreement with us, that agreement governs where the two differ.

What the service is

A tool for writing standard operating procedures, publishing them, running them step by step at the point of work, and reviewing what was recorded. Procedures are written from the documents you supply and from nothing else: we keep no library of standards and do not supply, license or resell them.

What it is not

MedNAIS is not a medical device and must not be used as one: it does not diagnose, treat, monitor or make any decision about an individual patient. It is not a quality management system of record, not a certification service, and not a substitute for compliance review. Citing a standard in a procedure is not certification against that standard, and execution records are a record of use rather than an audit.

A generated procedure is a draft

MedNAIS can write procedure steps with a language model. What comes out is a starting point, and a language model can state an incorrect quantity or interval, omit a control the source document requires, or attribute a requirement to a standard that does not contain it. No generated procedure may be performed, or relied on as the instruction for doing the work, until a person qualified in that work has read it in full and approved it — whatever the work is, and whether or not anybody has first judged it dangerous. Responsibility for the correctness, safety and regulatory compliance of what your organisation publishes rests with your organisation and with the people who approve it.

Who may publish a procedure

Anybody in your organisation can write a draft and say it is ready for review. Only an owner or an administrator can publish it, and that is a rule the database enforces rather than a setting in a screen — a member who tries by any other route is refused. Publishing is one-way: a published version cannot be returned to draft, and its steps cannot then be edited. Correcting a published procedure makes a new version, so the runs already carried out keep the text they were performed against.

A record of a run stays

Once a run has been recorded it cannot be deleted — not by the person who carried it out, not by an administrator, not by the owner, and not by us. That is the point of keeping it: a compliance record that the wrong week can be removed from is not a compliance record. The one way it goes is with the whole organisation, which an owner can delete deliberately and which takes the procedures, the files and the runs together. You can export what we hold at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not upload a document you have no right to upload, or obtain one by getting round an access control; do not use MedNAIS to redistribute a standard you licensed to anyone outside the licensed entity; do not try to reach another organisation's data or work around a permission; do not present a generated draft as reviewed, approved or certified when it is not; and do not use the service in a way that breaks the law where you are or your own organisation's rules. If you find a security problem, tell us before you tell anyone else — we will not pursue anyone who reports one in good faith.

Your documents

You keep every right you have in what you upload and in the procedures you write. Your files stay in your own organisation's tenant, are shown to no other customer, and are not used to train or fine-tune any model. When you ask MedNAIS to draft a procedure from a document, its text is sent to the model providers named in our privacy policy. Many standards are licensed on terms that forbid that; check before uploading one.

Ending it

You can delete your own account at any time, without asking us — in the apps, in the console, or from mednais.com/delete-account. It takes effect at once and cannot be undone. The record of procedures you carried out stays with the organisation you carried them out for — see above, it is not ours to remove either — and stops naming you. The full text explains what is kept and why.

Liability and law

The product is provided as it is. We do not warrant that a generated procedure is accurate, complete, safe or compliant. The terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and nothing in them removes a protection that the law where you are does not allow to be contracted out of. The limits and exclusions that actually apply are in the full text.
